The Kids Club: a restaurant with a play area in Porto Azzurro
A gift for our guests: in the alley next to Il Caveau, the place where children play while the grown-ups stay at the table. Free, all year round.
The Kids Club opened in November 2025, shortly after the birth of our daughter Matilde. Becoming parents made us realise how precious it is to enjoy a dinner or a toast in complete peace, so we turned a space beside the tables into an area made for little ones.
It is in Vicolo Santander, next to the Il Caveau wine bar and about thirty metres from the restaurant. The alley is traffic-free and leads nowhere: no cars, no passers-by, a small and sheltered space. In summer the air moves through it; in winter it is protected from the wind.
It is a free service, exclusively for guests of the restaurant and the wine bar: not a paid service, and not organised entertainment. In high season a member of our team is present in the area to keep it tidy and keep an eye on things, but children remain the responsibility of their parents, who are only a few steps away.

Why it works
Three things that make the difference
A sheltered spot
Vicolo Santander is traffic-free and a dead end: no cars, nobody passing through. Children move between the play area and the tables at Il Caveau without crossing anything.
You are at the same table
The ten seats are inside the play area: children stay in their parents' sight, without changing room.
It is reserved for our guests
Only the children of those dining or drinking with us play here: a small, close-knit and familiar setting.
How it really works

Inside the play area there are ten seats: the play area and the tables share the same space, so you can carry on with a glass of wine or something to eat while keeping the children in sight, not in another room.
The structure is divided into two sections by age — 0-3 years with a soft pool and balls, 4-10 years with a slide, walkways and tunnels — so every age plays with the right equipment.

Here you can celebrate
even in January.
The Kids Club is the right place for a birthday: a table for the food, the play area two steps away and the parents seated with an aperitif. It works in the middle of winter too, sheltered and warm.
We organise everything on request: tell us how many children there will be and at what time.
